Hand knitted from the pure wool produced from the native flock of Loaghtan Sheep at Cregneash.

Loaghtans have always been highly prized for their wool, which was spun by hand in many of the Cregneash cottages before being passed to the local weaver to be woven undyed, into a hard-wearing and popular cloth.
