Edward Faragher, or Ned Beg Hom Ruy (“Little Ned, son of Red Tom), (1831-1908) was a farmer/fisherman of Cregneash and one of the last native Manx speakers. He was also a writer and regarded as the village poet as well as having a rich store of Manx folklore.
