Chronicles of the Kings of Man & the Isles, 1995 - Transcribed and translated by G. Broderick.

This is a translation from the mediaeval Latin text known in English as the "Chronicles of the Kings of Man & the Isles" which is one of the most important manuscripts in Manx History. The Chronicles narrate the activities of the kings and bishops of Man between 11th to 14th centuries and are thought to have been written by the monks at Rushen Abbey. The Latin appears on one page with the English translation on the opposite. The original manuscript of the Chronicles of Man is housed in the British Library in London.
