Harry Kelly (1853-1935) was a fisherman and native Manx speaker, whose family had lived in Cregneash for several generations, in the cottage now known as Harry Kelly’s cottage. His family generously gave the cottage to the Manx Museum, who opened it to the public in 1938. The National Folk Museum at Cregneash illustrates the traditional way of life of Manx crofters and fishermen.
