Hand crafted sterling silver fuchsia brooch with hand applied and fired enamels. The brooch comes in a presentation box. It has three free-moving fuchsia flower skirts and stamens.
Approx 4cm by 3.5cm.
The fuchsia plant dates back to the 17th century and was named after the botanist Leonard Fuchs. The fuchsia comes in many colours and varieties but Fuchsia Magellanica - the Manx name is Jeirnyn Yee (God’s Tears) - grows profusely throughout the Isle of Man.
